Felda is overly Bankrupt

The Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) is already bankrupt, bankrupt, bankrupt and bankrupt! There is no way they can recover from their losses anymore.

Why do we say they are bankrupt? They are bankrupt in terms of ideas, bankrupt in terms of policy making, bankrupt in terms of wisdom, bankrupt in terms of management aspects and just because they are so many bankrupt indications, they are now bankrupt in terms of finance.

Just look at how they waste the public funds, they now wanted to develop and build a brand new six-star luxurious Menara Felda (their new headquarters) which costs billions of Ringgit in construction. For what? For the Felda settlers to stay? What will happen to the old Felda headquarters once they move to the new Menara Felda? Turn the old one into a museum?

Just like the other federal government's plans and projects. They build a new Sri Perdana in Putrajaya and the old Seri Perdana in Kuala Lumpur has been turned into a museum, they are now constructing a new Istana Negara with the help of illegal foreign workers, so that the old Istana Negara will be turned into a museum and they also intend to build a new parliament in Putrajaya so the old parliament building will be turned into a museum.

And if all these happen, by the year 2020, our country will be having thousands of museums around here and there.

When Suara Keadilan published a report "Felda Bankrap" in their newspaper, Felda intends to file a legal action against the PKR newspaper for claiming that Felda is bankrupt. So when another person mention Felda is indeed bankrupt, are they going to file another legal action? If there are about thousands of people saying that Felda is already bankrupt, will Felda go after all these people who said so?

Then let us say, if Felda is projected to be bankrupt only by the year 2012, but with all these legal suit file against all those commentators, the agency will go bankrupt even sooner than 2012.

If doesn't mean that by filling legal actions against those who said you are bankrupt you can cover up your mismanagement and power abuses. You had clearly abused your funds to support a by-election campaign in Selangor in a "you help me, I help you" programme. It is an open secret.

You had failed in your responsibilities to protect the Felda settlers and their families and that is why the settlers' association is coming after you.

If you are not bankrupt as you claimed, then open up your entire agency for public scrutiny, open up your accounts and finances for independent auditing and certification. Publish your accounts in public avenues to prove that your agency is still financially sound.

Don't hide behind the Official Secrets Act (OSA). This is public interest because those are public funds.
